Hannalie Taute
Mother. Monster. Stitch. reaches an international audience
Exhibitions do not necessarily end when the gallery doors close. Some continue through writing, conversation and publication.
We are delighted that Mother. Monster. Stitch., Hannalie Taute’s solo exhibition at Berman Contemporary, has been featured in the latest issue of TXTile zine. The publication includes an essay by Elena Redaelli that reflects on Taute’s practice and the exhibition’s investigation of femininity, memory and resistance through embroidery.
The feature marks an important moment in the ongoing life of the exhibition, bringing the work into dialogue with an international community of artists, writers and readers engaged with contemporary textile practice.
