Cow Mash
UDDERLY | 2018
The “Udderly ” series was the starting point of my “Cow” related art practice. The series introduced a hybrid figure that fused the cow and the female body, emphasizing the udder and stylized horns. The udder became a focal point for exploring the politics of gender and the body, both for cows and women.
The horns, on the other hand, served as a metaphor for strength, determination, inner conflict, and wisdom. They provided a contrasting power to the typical female narrative that often highlights defeat and submission.
